My history & background
I grew up in a home of challengers, creative visionaries & outside the box thinkers.
I'm a child of Polish and French/German immigrants and grew up in Los Angeles, CA.
My dad evacuated Warsawa, Poland at 8yrs old and became a famous Los Angeles Architect, Christopher Wojciechowski and my Mom's family French Huguenot & German immigrated from France in the 1600's. She was the head nurse of the psychiatric ward at UCLA, Elizabeth Royer Wojciechowski. I'm the eldest sibling to my Sister, Maria Wojciechowski - Los Angeles Clothing Designer and Brother, Michael Wojciechowski - Pasadena Kids Klub Inc. Day Care Centers.
I was fortunate enough to graduate from USC Fine Art School for Photography and Design. I taught Art in Los Angeles for 8 years and transitioned into being a travel agent because I loved travel and photography more than teaching.
Both of my industries , Travel and Photography have been dramatically affected by the digital age and technology. I saw the writing on the wall every step of the way.
I transitioned, learned and grew as the technology changed and made much of what I had depended on for my source of creative expression and livelihood out dated.
I learned 5 different computer languages along the way and began to design my own websites and learn the complications of search engine optimization.
I worked for Columbia Pictures, Paramount Pictures, U.S. Building Corp. and AAA of Northern California. What I've learned is that Change is inevitable but Personal Growth is a choice.
I've seen powerful big businesses come and go like Kodak, Borders Books, Tower Records, TWA and many more. I was fortunate to be working for AAA at the turn of the century because they moved and changed with the times and did not become a 100 year old dinosaur lumbering toward extinction. No! They changed their cultural paradigm and are still in the game.
I believe my history brings a fluid foundation to my consulting practice. Change is the norm and we must plan for changing times. I believe in thinking outside the box and challenging the status quo to create a better way for people to thrive.
I believe our family origins are the foundational mud that makes it possible for our Lotus self to grow up and blossom.
If we fight & struggle with the mud we disturb the growth that will naturally take place.
I've learned to be grateful for every circumstance because I believe when it's received as a gift then the mud becomes the perfect recipe for our unique and thriving life.
